New Purchase: Behringer C1U
A budget microphone, but its my first studio consender microphone so I thought I’d go with a not-too-expensive one to see how it goes. Here is the video:
Video Description
A few minutes ago I bought a Behringer C1U studio condenser microphone, a pop filter and a Microphone Swivel Stand, these things should help increase my audio quality which you will see isn’t great.

Kodak EasyShare C913 Review
Video Description:
I review the Kodak EasyShare C913 Camera. Its a 9.2 MegaPixel camera which has a 3x Optical Zoom and 4x Digital Zoom. It has video and image HD capabilities as well as various colour and scene modes (e.g. Sepia, Black and White etc.). This camera also features Blur Reduction which is good for action shots (e.g. whilst travelling in a vehicle).
I would definately recommend this camera and it is available for not-too-much at around £70-£90 GBP or $140-$180 USD.

Non-Widescreen Videos
Video Description:
You may have noticed my last video was in Widescreen (16:9) format but it looked a bit stretched; this was because it was made into Widescreen format after the raw video has been captured in Non-Widescreen (4:3) format. Since it looked stretched I think I will do the rest of my videos in Non-Widescreen (4:3) format.

My first Live Broadcast
Well tonight was the first live broadcast of my new Weekly show (every Saturday at 10pm GMT, 2pm Pacific, 3pm Eastern and 4pm Central here) and I think it went quite well.
I had some people (which due to my crappy memory, I can’t remember their names) who stayed all the way through (I think it was ‘dadycupcake’ and ‘cyber’eclipse’ - can’t remember but you know who you are) and we also had Sam, and a few other “Ustreamers” come and join the tech discussion.
Despite a few internet outages it went without any other problems and some people even commented on good quality audio and video (on the PC, definately not laptop) despite the lag. Thanks to those who attending; even though it wasn’t many compared to other Ustream shows it still means quite a lot to me, thanks again!
I’ll be doing another one, next Saturday 10th January 2009 (for times see above) at the same Ustream page; here.

I haven’t actually used it yet because the one I had given to me on Christmas day wouldn’t work (switched on and straight back off - tried new batteries and everything; have sent for a new one), but I thought I’d give you some info on the specs and what I will be using it for anyway - I’ll make a proper review post when I get a working one.
I wil be using the camera mainly for my graphic design work but also for everyday use; family outings, trips to the beach etc. :P.
